2010 Easton SSR2 Stealth Speed XL

Introducing the new 2010 Easton Stealth Speed XL SSR2. The Easton Stealth Speed XL is manufactured using Easton's laser precision manufacturing system that minimizes material overlap, by removing excess mass from the barrel permitting lighter MOI and faster swing speeds. Unlike alloy that has the same strength and stiffness in all directions, composite fibers have very high strength and stiffness in the direction of the fibers but much lower strength and stiffness across the fibers. Easton has been able to customize the bat barrel flex using unique patented design technologies. The two piece design helps give the barrel of the bat a bit of a whip lash action, this in turn generates more bat speed at the head of the bat. Acting like a hinge, the ConneXion provides the most efficient energy transfer from handle to barrel, resulting in maximum bat head whip for a quicker bat and more power through the hitting zone. The Patented CXN Technology helps provide extra kick and increase bat head speed. The patented IMX Technology provides the best in materials, design and manufacturing process.
